What does love mean to you?
I am sitting on my couch, as the beautiful winter breeze creeps inside my apartment through the balcony door as I receive a message about someone wanting a photoshoot. However, this story is a little different! This wonderful lady contacts me about wanting to book a photoshoot for her cousin and his wife as a surprise. Little did I know that this would be their first photoshoot ever! This couple has been married for 10 years (talk about commitment!), and have never gotten a professional photoshoot done! Can you believe it? So we discussed the terms and set a date and hoped for the best! On the day of the photoshoot, I show up to this wonderful lady's house and wait for the couple to arrive. Once they arrive, all decked out, they jump out of their mini van along with their 3 kids! They were so confused as to what was happening because she told them to just come dressed nicely and to expect something, but what? They didn't know! As soon as they saw me with my camera (6D Mark II), they immediately put A and B together and realized what was going on! "You guys have never had a photoshoot, so I wanted to surprise you guys with a photoshoot for your 10 year anniversary" she said happily! We went to our set and started snapping photos, and let me tell you, the amount of love these two have for each other is so apparent just by looking at how they look at each other! They were all giggles and laughs, as if it was their first photoshoot (it was!), newly engaged!
This couple brought a lot to my attention! For the people who say getting married at a younger age sucks, it doesn't! These two have been married for 10 years and both got married at such a young age! The amount of love they have for each other is indescribable! I can also speak from experience! It does not mean that if you get married at a younger age, you have to stop the party! Start the party with the person you love at the age you want! After all, marrying someone you love shouldn't be questioned just because you are (a little younger than the usual couple)!
